Annabelle Painter

Dr Annabelle Painter’s digital health experience spans the private, public and academic sectors and includes roles in AI product development & evaluation and national AI strategy & policy. She is currently Chief Medical Officer at Visiba developing AI triage technology, having previously worked with symptom checkers as an AI clinician at Babylon Health. She recently undertook the NHS clinical AI fellowship, developing and evaluating AI models at Guy's and St Thomas’ NHS trust. She previously was a Clinical AI fellow at the NHS AI Lab & HEE where she authored white papers exploring AI confidence in the healthcare workforce. As an honorary fellow at Imperial College London, she has conducted research and teaching about digital health technologies. Clinically, Annabelle is a practising GP registrar in London. Annabelle sits on the Royal Society of Medicine Digital Health Council and hosts the section podcast.
