Dr. Anushka Patchava

Dr. Anushka Patchava is a former senior executive, recently serving as Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Vitality, before transitioning to serial entrepreneurship. As a dynamic entrepreneur, she is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Wellx, a cutting-edge health and insurtech company, leveraging artificial intelligence to disrupt health and life insurance in the Middle East. In this role, Wellx has won several global awards including the coveted Med-Ted World Award for Best Supporting Digital Healthcare Product in 2023. She also is Chief Growth Officer at Mindstep, a mental health start-up in the UK providing in the moment AI-led digital triage and personalised care across over 12+ brain and mental health conditions. Both Wellx and Mindstep were selected and part of Google's inaugural AI for Health accelerator in 2023.  With a passion for analytics and efficiency, Anushka's career has largely been focussed on deploying population health, digital health and new technologies to improve healthcare outcomes across several global markets, including US, Europe and East Asia.  Anushka's expertise extends beyond the business realm, as she also serves as an Expert Advisor with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare Policy, to both the United Nations (UN) and the World Economic Forum (WEF).  Beyond her professional endeavours, Anushka is an active angel investor, supporting emerging startups and entrepreneurs in the healthcare and technology sectors, through strategic, operational and leadership coaching. She holds a BS(Hons) in Biochemistry from Imperial College, a medical degree from University of Cambridge, a MD in Orthopaedics from Harvard University and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
