Dr Shruti Patel

Dr Shruti Patel is the Head of Healthcare Data and Outcomes in the global function at Bupa. She is a practising paediatric doctor, with specialist training in public health. She has a wide range of healthcare experience, having worked clinically in both the UK and Australia and subsequently in a range of roles with both delivery and strategic leadership functions. Of note, Shruti has held hospital management roles in London and public health roles across local government, UKHSA and NICE. She has experience of humanitarian healthcare, having worked as a public health specialist at MSF. Her work focuses on leading service transformation and improving outcomes, with a focus on optimising use of data and digital technologies. Shruti holds a medical degree from UCL, an MPH from LSHTM and is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health as well as the Faculty of Public Health.
