Dr. Farzana Rahman

Dr Farzana Rahman is the CEO and Co-Founder of radiology technology company Hexarad, one of the UK’s fastest growing scale-ups. Since its inception in 2018, Hexarad has grown to a team of 260. It has won numerous awards including an HSJ award for best partnership in 2024 for its work on improving patient throughput in A&E. Farzana was previously a substantive consultant radiologist at University College Hospitals Trust London, an NHS Digital advisor, and Head of Data and Digital Strategy at the AoMRC where she led the publication of a national policy paper examining the use of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. She is currently a member of the British Institute of Radiology (BIR) Leadership Group. As well as her medical degree, Farzana has a degree in Health Economics from the London School of Economics.
