I have been a nurse for 21 years; a career move from IT! I was in Clinical Research for 10 years before moving to Neurology. My specialty is Demyelination which includes Paediatric Onset Multiple Sclerosis. I have also recently set up a Genomics Clinic where I provide genomics education I am very aware of the inequalities in the provision of some services in the NHS. As the patient's advocate, I am constantly looking for ways to enable participation and that no one is left behind or encounter disadvantages because of age, sex, religion, culture, language.
