Stephanie Somerville

Stephanie Somerville, Director, Community Health Services Transformation and Virtual Wards, NHS England Stephanie leads the virtual ward programme at NHS England to deliver more care at home, a better experience for patients supported by technology. She also leads on programmes to radically improve data architecture and availability in Community Services as well as levelling-up digital provision. Before NHS England, she was Director of the Helix Centre at Imperial College London, a joint venture with the Royal College of Art and Imperial College Healthcare Trust to develop and trial digital innovations that solve problems in patient care. Stephanie also spent 10 years at the Department for Health and Social Care leading national strategy and policy initiatives.
